Presentation of the book on the Hangar Bicocca by Gianluca Winkler, on May 8 in Milan

We are happy to announce that  Gianluca Winkler, former General Director of the Hangar Bicocca Foundation, will present his book "Come nasce un'istituzione. Il caso Hangar Bicocca" published by Allemandi & C. on May 8, in Milan. The presentation will take place at the Cubo della Videoteca at 7pm. Friends and colleagues will attend the event.

ART for The World started its collaboration with Gianluca Winkler and Hangar Bicocca in 2005 with the exhibition of the models  Playgrounds and Toys. Since then, we have closely collaborated on many large group and solo exhibitions hosted in the spaces of the Hangar Bicocca. Among them the impressive show Balkan Erotic Epic by Marina Abramovic in 2006, the exhibition Collateral. When Art Looks at Cinema in 2007 featuring video works by internationally renowned artists (Pierre Huyghe, Runa Islam, Mike Kelly, Melik Ohanian, ...), and the exhibition on contemporary Indian art Urban Manners. 15 Contemporary Artists from India in 2007 (Subodh Gupta, Jitish Kallat, Bharti Kher, Raghubir Singh, ...).

It's therefore with pleasure that we share with you his invitation and we look forward to meeting you there.
